Welcome to the Mississippi Dietetic Association!
Happy New Year! There are many important events coming up over the next few months. The Mississippi Dietetic Association will hold its annual meeting on March 8th and 9th @ the Train Depot in Hattiesburg, MS. Please make every effort to attend and catch up with old friends.
The Board of Directors is also asking our membership to decide upon whether or not to change the name of our organization. Voting on a name change will accompany officer elections through electronic ballots. Since ADA has changed its name to The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, affiliates are given the option to do so as well.
I would also like to personally invite all members to attend a Board of Directors meeting. The next meeting will be held on January 5, 2012 at the University Physician’s Grants Ferry Road Clinic in Flowood, MS from 9 to 11:30 am. We will also have a BOD meeting prior to the annual meeting on March 8th. Please know your attendance and input would be truly valued.
