MSAND Nominations for 2017-2018 Open!

The nominating committee is beginning the process to fill positions for 2017-2018 MS-AND Executive Board.  We need your help identifying individuals for the following positions:

  • President Elect
  • Chair-Elect CPI
  • Chair-Elect COER
  • Nominating Committee Member

  • Following is a list of the qualifications: 

    The President-elect will:

    A.     Be an active, retired, or life member of the Association

    B.     Have experience in activities and development of leadership in the profession.

    C.     Be thoroughly familiar with the Association, its activities and operation.

    D.     Have served on the Board of Directors for two (2) years.

    E.     Have professional goals that parallel to those of the Association.

    F.     Have personal, physical, and professional fitness for the office.

    G.     Be reasonably sure of time available for office for two (2) consecutive years.


    The Chair-elect of the Council on Professional Issues (CPI) will:

    A.     Be an active, retired, or life Member of the Association.

    B.     Be active in the district and/or state Association.

    C.     Be thoroughly familiar with the state and national Association activities and operation.

    D.     Be able to represent all state members equally in an unbiased manner.

    E.     Be able to communicate between district, state and national Associations.

    F.     Be reasonably sure of the time available for office for three (3) consecutive years.


    The Chair-elect of the Council on Education and Research (COER) will:

    A.     Be an active, retired, or life member of the Association.

    B.     Be active in the district and/or state Association.

    C.     Be familiar with dietetic education programs within the state.

    D.     Be familiar with research methodology.

    E.      Be committed to continuing education within the dietetic profession.

    F.      Be reasonably sure of the time available for office for two (2) consecutive years.


    The
    Nominating Committee members will:


    A.     Be active, retired, or life Members of the Association.

    B.     Be active in the state Association.

    C.     Be thoroughly familiar with the Association, its activities and operation.

    D.     Be familiar with membership in order to select the most qualified leaders for office.

    E.     Be reasonably sure of time available for office for three (3) consecutive years.
