Action Alerts

Action alerts allow us to bring the public policy issues to the attention of legislators and help to raise awareness and add legitimacy to a particular priority issue. House Bill 177 (Compact Licensure for Dietitians) passed the Full House on March 6, 2024 and it was referred to the Mississippi Senate. Please click the links below for template letters that you can send to your Mississippi Senator in support of dietetic compact licensure legislation. As with all policy and legislation work, it is always helpful to include any personal information and stories you can share about why compact licensure is important to you. Please encourage your friends and family members to also contact their Mississippi Senators to help us get this legislation passed. The letter below also works for non-RDNs.
